I’m Tess, an equine portrait photographer living in North Dorset with my gorgeous black lab Maggie. I photograph in a relaxed, unobtrusive manner to capture natural, often informal images which capture that special relationship between you and your horse.
As a former horse owner I know all about the war against mud and horse flies, hay nets and perfect plaits and also know how all that hardship is worth it for a gallop across a stubble field on a summer’s evening or a snuggle in the stable after a hard day at work.
A photo shoot is the perfect opportunity to step back from your daily routine and do something completely different to normal. A chance to escape the pressures of everyday life and to show off the relationship you’ve built together.
